Abstract
The book of songs, also known as "three hundred poems", is the first collection of
poems in China. Confucius once summed up the purpose of the book of songs as
"innocence", and taught his disciples to read the book of songs as the standard of
speech and action. In the pre Qin period, many scholars quoted the book of songs,
such as Mencius, Xunzi, Mozi, Zhuangzi, Han Feizi and so on. By the time of
Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty, the book of songs was regarded as a classic by
