Abstract
This paper mainly adopts 3D printing technology to prepare metal thin-walled hollow tube
structure and two bionic composite structures of lotus root-horsetail, and analyzes and studies
the mechanical behavior and energy absorption characteristics of the above three structures by
lateral compression and lateral three-point bending experiments using the obtained
experimental data. Metal thin-walled hollow tube is a common energy-absorbing element with
good energy-absorbing character
