Abstract
The Cu-0.8Sn alloy was obtained by vacuum melting, and different specimens were obtained by annealing the alloy at different temperatures. The mechanical properties of the material were tested using tensile and hardness tests, and it was concluded that the plasticity of the 700°C annealed specimens was the best, while the strength of the as-cast specimens was the highest. Metallographic experiments showed that the intracrystalline segregation was completely eliminated by annealing at 75
