Abstract
Ji Kang, one of the "Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove", was a famous
philosopher in my country during the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. He
has read many books and extensively studied various arts. He especially loves Lao
Zhuang's doctrine, and his thoughts mainly inherit Lao Tzu's natural inaction. On the
basis of Laozi and Zhuangzi's theory, Ji Kang proposed a metaphysical thought
against ethics and advocating nature, and gave a deeper interpretation of Laozi's
