Abstract
Shishuo Xinyu, also known as Shishuo, is the representative of "note novels". It
was compiled by Liu Yiqing, the king of Linchuan in the Southern Song Dynasty, and
organized by his disciples. It mainly records the words and deeds and anecdotes of
some famous scholars from the late Eastern Han Dynasty to the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
Wine, as the main image of Chinese literati to express their aesthetic ideas, occupies an
important position in the unique image system of Shishuoxinyu. I
