Furfural is derived from agricultural waste and can be hydrorefined to produce a variety of chemicals.
The industrial catalytic hydrogenation of furfural usually uses Cu-Cr catalysts, but it does not meet the green chemical process due to the toxicity of chromium to pollute the environment. It is of great research significance to develop a hydrogenation catalyst with high activity and low pollution.
