Abstract
Shellac resin is a kind of natural resin. Because of its natural green, non-toxic and non-
irritating properties, it is widely used in important fields such as electrical industry, wood
furniture, food and medicine, national defense and military. However, its low softening point
and easy polymerization under heat limit the further application of shellac.
