【Abstract】Idempotent matrix is a special kind of matrix, which is widely used in different fields. This paper mainly summarizes the properties of idempotent matrix, discusses whether the inverse matrix, adjoint matrix and other combinatorial forms have idempotent matrix, and makes a beneficial generalization of the properties of idempotent matrix. Finally, the idempotency of the eigenvalue of idempotent matrix and the combination display of idempotent matrix is applied.
