Abstract
Sulfuricacidisoneofthemostimportantproductsandrawmaterialsinthechemical
industry.Theearlierproductionmethodofsulfuricacidwasnitrification,butthefinalyieldof
nitrificationwasnothigh,soitwasgraduallyreplacedbythelatercontactmethod.The
productionprocessofcontactmethodincludes:pretreatmentofrawmaterials,preparationof
SO2,refiningofSO2furnacegas,conversionofSO2,absorptionofSO3,treatmentofthree
wastes,etc.
