Abstract
The realistic style in the film " The Good, the Bad and the Ugly " is the Italian new realistic style in the
1950s and 1960s. Through this realistic style, the director reveals the living environment of ordinary people
under the background of war, shows humanitarian care, and guides the audience to reflect on the war, so as to
achieve the theme of anti war.
